Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Due to a large-scale SAP project, we have a fixed term opportunity for an SAP Billing Systems Specialist to join the team. This role will support billing performance and ensure accurate, timely outcomes across a high-volume environment.
Working at the intersection of systems, process, and customer delivery, you will investigate and resolve billing queries and discrepancies, identify root causes, and support continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams, acting as a trusted specialist to ensure billing outcomes are right first time and aligned to customer and commercial expectations.
You will also contribute to ongoing optimisation by identifying root causes, supporting testing and enhancements, and improving workflows, automation and reporting outcomes across complex, integrated systems.
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
You are an experienced SAP SD Billing functional specialist with a deep understanding of pricing, invoicing, and the end-to-end customer billing lifecycle. You bring strong capability in diagnosing issues, understanding system behaviour, and ensuring accuracy.
In Addition, You Demonstrate
- Experience resolving billing discrepancies and customer related issues end to end.
- Ability to analyse system data and process flows to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Experience managing incidents, including triage, investigation, and resolution across systems and integrations.
- Confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge between teams.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and respond to business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting configuration updates, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives within SAP.
- A communication style that is clear, structured, and customer focused.
