Are you an experienced Financial Adviser ready to take the next step in your career? We have an opportunity for a Senior Wealth Manager to join our Wealth Advisory team based in Christchurch.
Te Tūranga | The role
As a Senior Wealth Manager, you will work with high-net-worth clients across the South Island, providing tailored investment advice and building long term relationships grounded in trust.
You will manage and grow a portfolio of clients, guiding them through the ASB Wealth advice process and delivering solutions aligned to their goals. You will also proactively source new opportunities, both internally and externally, and contribute to increasing funds under management and overall client engagement.
Working closely with colleagues across the bank, you will strengthen our referral network, connect customers with the right specialists, and support capability uplift by sharing your expertise.
This is a senior role where you will represent ASB with credibility, deliver high quality advice, and contribute to positive outcomes for our customers and communities.

You are an experienced adviser with a strong track record of delivering quality financial advice and building lasting client relationships.
You bring sound commercial judgement, a disciplined and compliant approach, and confidence working with high value clients. You are known for your professionalism, relationship management, and ability to influence and grow your network.
You Will Also Bring
- Proven experience managing and growing a portfolio of wealth clients
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment solutions
- The ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
- Well developed stakeholder management and influencing skills
It is essential that you hold the NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 and are a registered Financial Adviser on the FSPR.
