We’re looking for two proactive and people-focused People & Performance Advisors to partner with our Tourism Experience teams across some of New Zealand’s most iconic destinations.

These opportunities have become available due to an internal promotion and a relocation, making it an exciting time to join our People & Performance team. Both permanent and 12–18 month fixed-term opportunities are available.

In this role, you won’t just provide HR support, you’ll play a key part in shaping culture, building leadership capability, and helping our people deliver unforgettable experiences every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with operational leaders and employees across our Tourism Experiences business, providing practical and timely support across the employee lifecycle.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Providing advice and guidance on employee relations and people matters
  • Supporting performance, development, and engagement initiatives
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activity
  • Coaching leaders through people conversations and change activity
  • Supporting investigations, disciplinary processes, and employment documentation
  • Delivering reporting, insights, and people related administration
  • Helping embed positive culture and people practices across operational teams
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives throughout the business

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. Regular weekly travel is part of this role, supporting our teams across Te Anau, Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Rakiura, and Queenstown.

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • Experience in a generalist HR or People & Performance role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence supporting employee relations and performance conversations
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • A practical mindset with sound judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with leaders across a geographically spread operation

Experience within tourism, hospitality, or operational environments would be highly advantageous.
