A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced people leader to step into a newly created Billing Team Lead role, playing a pivotal part in establishing and leading a billing function during a major transition.
About The Role
Reporting into a senior manager within a corporate services function, you will be responsible for leading an interim billing unit. You will manage two direct reports and work closely with finance, customer service and external stakeholders to ensure end‑to‑end billing and collections are delivered accurately and compliantly. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and overseeing end‑to‑end billing, invoicing, receipting, reconciliation and debt management
- Leading, coaching, and developing a small billing team in a new and evolving environment
- Acting as the key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and vendors
- Driving continuous improvement
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in people leadership experience, ideally in a finance or customer facing environment. You’ll also have experience across accounts receivable, debt management or billings.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead through change and operate confidently in uncertain environments.
- Strong finance background and systems knowledge.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
