As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple construction projects through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, budget and to the highest quality standards.
Utilise your commercial or residential construction expertise and project leadership skills to drive quality, safety, and efficiency through construction phases, managing interaction with design professionals, multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Of This Position Include
- Planning & phasing of construction projects
- Ensuring your sites and subcontractors meet strict health and safety standards
- Budget development, invoice management and financial reporting
- Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships
- Effectively managing project defects
- Project compliance and inspection coordination
Suitable candidates will have the right to accept permanent employment in New Zealand and be able to demonstrate a successful career to date working for either a residential developer, Main Contractor or project management business in New Zealand.
Key Skills And Experience Required
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to maintain oversight of project budget and financials
- High regard for Health Safety and compliance
- Strong project co-ordination and time management skills
- Proactive nature
- Relevant NZ construction sector experience
- Full driving licence
- Construction software literacy
