The Role

This Financial Accountant role sits within the Financial Control team and is a hands‑on position supporting core financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys detailed work, structured processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be involved in month‑end close, balance sheet integrity, and statutory reporting, while working closely with senior finance colleagues, Finance Business Partners, and Strategic Finance.

Role Requirements

  • Financial accounting or Auditing experience
  • Hands‑on involvement in month‑end close, including journals and general ledger maintenance
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and support with fixed asset capitalisation
  • Exposure to Treasury reporting, including CFISNet submissions and forecast cycles
  • Understanding of tax and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with ERP or financial systems with multiple sub‑ledgers
  • Ability to prepare clear written responses for information requests and ad‑hoc queries
