Your day-to-day would look like

• Delivering consistent architectural solutions aligned to IT principles, standards, and the Architectural Roadmap
• Collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
• Driving innovative solutions from concept through to delivery of market-ready products

In your first 6-12 months, success will look like:

• Setting strategic architecture direction aligned to business goals and enterprise framework to position Tower as a technology leader
• Leading solution design decisions by collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring alignment to architectural standards and roadmaps
• Developing and enforcing architecture frameworks to ensure consistency, efficiency, and reuse (e.g., microservices, domain-driven design)
• Designing and evaluating scalable solutions that balance business needs, cost, supportability, and technology strategy
• Driving AI/GenAI architecture standards with governance on integration, monitoring, security, privacy, and risk compliance
• Strengthening enterprise and development practices through innovation, future planning, performance improvements, and adherence to software standards

To thrive in this role, you'll need

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect or 2 years with 3+ years as a Technical Lead or Lead Engineer
• A demonstratable history in delivery of innovative, technical solutions to consumer markets
• An understanding of the financial services industry particularly general insurance
• Experience of systems design, development and implementation across several technology platforms with special focus on Web based environments
• A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives
• Understanding and knowledge of the principles of information and enterprise architecture would also be an advantage
• Tertiary qualifications are desirable coupled with up-to-date understanding of developments in the IT industry.
• Broad understanding of end‑to‑end technology ecosystems, including cloud, software development, data, security, and infrastructure domains. They must assess architectural implications across areas such as AI/ML, enterprise systems, and customer-facing technologies to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated solutions.
