Ventia is seeking a skilled Workshop Mechanic to support our Far North roading maintenance contract. Based at our Puketona yard, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet and heavy equipment operating safely and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity to join a stable, long-term contract and be part of a small, supportive team in a stunning lifestyle location.
About The Role
- Service, maintain and repair heavy vehicles and roading plant
- Diagnose faults and minimise downtime
- Support operational crews with equipment readiness
- Assist with general workshop and yard activities
- Work closely with one other mechanic, reporting to the Branch Manager
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified mechanic (preferred)
- Experience with heavy vehicles, plant, or roading equipment
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Practical, hands-on approach with a team-first attitude
