This project is designed as an immersive, hands-on learning experience where students explore the local environment, culture, and daily life in New Zealand through guided activities and interactive tasks. It involves engaging in fun, non-academic teaching while shaping meaningful learning moments beyond the classroomâhelping students connect language with real-world experiences.
During this period, you will be on a full board package and will accompany students throughout the day. In the morning, you will attend one to two lessons with them. Around midday, you will join them for outdoor activities, including visits to local attractions and introducing these places to the students. In the evening, you will return to the school with the students and help run games or other activities. This outlines your main duties and the general working hours expected during the tour
We truly see this as more than a short-term teaching engagement. It is an opportunity to engage with bright young learners from a different cultural background, share your local knowledge in an authentic setting, and be part of a dynamic and meaningful educational journey. The connections formed, the experiences gained, and the impact you make will undoubtedly become a memorable highlight in your teaching path.
