We’re looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join our Corporate Office in Auckland CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to procurement transformation initiatives while supporting day-to-day procurement activities across the organisation.
Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you’ll help embed best-practice procurement processes, support the rollout and optimisation of the Esker Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system, and build strong relationships across the business to support procurement capability uplift.
What You’ll Do
- Support procurement transformation initiatives, including supplier engagement, reporting, governance, and process improvement activities
- Assist with the rollout, onboarding, training, and ongoing optimisation of the Esker P2P system
- Provide first-line support to system users and help drive system adoption and compliance across the business
- Support sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier engagement, and CAPEX procurement processes
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies, systems, and processes
- Assist with supplier onboarding, contract administration, and maintaining supplier and contract data integrity
- Support reporting, analytics, and procurement insights generation
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and act as a trusted point of contact for procurement support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of procurement capability across the business
What you’ll bring
- At least 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles
- Experience supporting sourcing activities and supplier engagement
- Exposure to procurement systems, with P2P system experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across BAU and project work
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and confidence using AI tools
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience in a transformation or project environment is advantageous
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, supply chain, or a related discipline preferred
- MCIPS qualification preferred
