Archway is supporting a well established not for profit who are looking for a part time Payroll Administration contractor/temp for a 3 month temp assignment, that may extend for another 3 or go permanent for the right person.

About The Role

This role supports a small payroll team of two, providing administrative support to both the payroll and HR functions. This role will act as an extra set of experienced hands, bringing stability, attention to detail and calm to payroll delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • End to end payroll administration
  • Supporting staff with payroll queries.
  • General ad hoc HR administration as required, including preparing and issuing variance letters, and MoJ checks etc.

Any additional value you can provide is well regarded, but the basics of the role keeping the payroll function afloat in the short term is most important!

About You

You will ideally be an experienced Payroll Administrator who is comfortable operating in a part time, temporary contract environment. You enjoy being relied on for your accuracy and judgement and are happy to work with minimal supervision. You will ideally bring:

  • Solid hands on payroll experience
  • A practical, reliable and detail focused approach
  • Confidence managing payroll tasks independently
  • Willingness to support a wider People and Culture function when needed

This role would suit someone between roles, returning to work part time, or someone who enjoys contract payroll assignments.

The position is for 20 hours per week, with flexibility around how those hours are structured. The only non negotiable working days are Monday and Tuesday, as the weekly pay run is processed on Tuesday.

Interviews are ready to commence immediately. Start date will be approximately two weeks after offer to allow time for IT setup and onboarding.
