Are you a senior Anaesthetic Technician or RNAA with leadership experience? Here at Allevia Hospital Epsom we're looking for a Charge Manager for our Anaesthetics service.

This is a fulltime permanent position leading a team of ATs and RNAAs across 10 Operating Theatres, in our new purpose built state of the art Gilgit Wing. Working hours are Monday to Friday day shift, with requirement to alter your hours from time to time to meet business needs. Reporting directly to the Theatre Manager Epsom, the key focus of this role is to ensure that all Anaesthetic resources (people and financial) are utilised efficiently & effectively, resulting in great clinical outcomes, exceptional customer service, business growth, and a happy team that includes our Anaesthetists and Surgeons.

  • NZ registration and APC as an Anaesthetic Technician or (qualified) RNAA
  • Qualification in management (preferable)
  • CORE Advanced certified
  • Highly skilled Anaesthetics practitioner
  • Credible people leader, who leads by example and builds positive and supportive teams, where open communication and respect is highly valued
  • Strong judgement, logical problem solving skills, committed to quality and safety, able to work within a multi-disciplinary team and always find the win/win outcome
