About the role

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with manufacturing, R&D, and leadership to drive financial performance, cost visibility, and strategic decision-making. In this role you will:

  • Lead manufacturing accounting & costing – manage BOMs, cost analysis, and production variances
  • Own revenue & key customer financials – including transfer pricing, revenue share, and demand forecasting
  • Drive FP&A – lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting
  • Partner across the business – provide insights to manufacturing, R&D, and leadership teams
  • Oversee R&D financials – track project spend, capitalisation, and funding
  • Improve processes & controls – enhance reporting, automation, and financial governance
  • Support reporting & audits – contribute to statutory reporting and audit processes

With another Management Accountant as a direct report, you’ll also get to demonstrate your leadership skills.

What you’ll bring

  • CA / CPA qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing or commercial accounting environments
  • Strong understanding of NZ IFRS and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to translate data into commercial insights
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
