About the role
Coordinate and manage various aspects of our IT change projects; ensuring seamless integration and effective collaboration among team members. As a key member of the team, you will support Project Managers across a variety of projects that span the wider New Zealand Intelligence Community.
Typical day-to-day duties may include:
- Tracking and capturing the status of projects
- Risk management and financial monitoring
- Producing effective communications, status reports and other project artefacts
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and consultants
What youll bring
As a proactive organiser who enjoys streamlining work and communicating openly, youll be confident liaising with our stakeholders, have a strong customer focus, and be able to work independently and self-manage.
You will also have:
- Highlevel administration/coordination experience preferably within IT project context
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines in a complex environment
- Strong technical skills proficient with Microsoft Office (including MS Project) and quick to learn new tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds

The expected appointment range for this position is between $73,684 - $78,596.
Before you apply
Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
- Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
- Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
