About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Operations to lead the integrity, control, and delivery of EROAD’s core finance operations across New Zealand, Australia, Philippines and North America.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and driving operational excellence across a complex, multi-entity SaaS and hardware environment.

You will be the key custodian of “getting the numbers right”, nd instrumental in building a modern, scalable financial operation,enabling confident decision-making by the Executive team, Board, and external auditors.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end month-end, half-year, and year-end close processes across multiple regions
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant with IFRS
• Own balance sheet governance, including reconciliations and key accounting judgments
• Act as operational lead for internal and external audit processes
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and drive remediation of audit findings
• Oversee revenue operations and ensure compliance with IFRS 15
• Drive finance process standardisation and continuous improvement, including progress toward a continuous close environment
• Lead finance systems and process improvement initiatives in partnership with IT and Enterprise Systems
• Reduce operational risk through automation, documentation, and scalable process design
• Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing finance operations team

What You’ll Bring

You are a senior finance leader with deep experience in financial control, audit, and multi-entity environments. You thrive in complex, fast-moving organisations and bring a strong balance of technical expertise and practical execution.

You Will Bring

• Significant experience in finance operations or financial control leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting application
• Proven experience managing audits and strengthening control environments
• Experience in multi-currency, multi-entity environments (ideally SaaS or tech)
• A systems mindset with experience improving ERP or finance tools
• Strong leadership capability and a continuous improvement mindset
