Our clinics in Midland MRI are seeking an enthusiastic and talented medical administrator to join the team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working a 40-hour week, working with a fantastic team who continue to develop their operations to achieve outstanding success.

What will you be doing?

The role involves being the first point of contact for all our patients over the phone and in person. Giving patients the quality care associated with I-MED Radiology Network. In this role you will be assisting patients to make and amend bookings, processing referrals, giving general preparation, and billing information relating to bookings over the phone. In person greeting patients, data entry, taking payments and ensuring our reception area remains clean and welcoming.

This is a busy dynamic environment of regular change that will enable you to work and support patients and the wider healthcare team within Midland MRI.

When and where will you do it?

Our clinic receptions operate between the hours of 07:30am to 09:00pm, Monday-Friday and opportunities for weekend work when needed. There is also the opportunity to work rotating rosters.

You will be given Induction training upon commencement and additional on the floor support, monitoring and ongoing coaching, feedback, and development.

What are we seeking?

  • Experience in providing quality customer experience in a medical or high-volume complex customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with a computerised booking system and proficiency in reception tasks
  • A pledge to your own performance and commitment to giving quality customer care
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Experience as a medical typist preferred but not essential
  • Strong team skills
  • Good PC and accurate data entry and typing skills.
  • A positive customer focused attitude
  • The willingness to receive and act on feedback
  • High levels of resilience and the ability to work autonomously
  • A self-motivated, reliable, and conscientious approach to your work
