Senior Front End Engineer

About The Role

With an exciting and interesting product roadmap planned out over the next few years, our Product team are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer who is keen to join us on our exciting Foster Moore journey!

Our Senior Frontend Engineers contribute to the evolution of our software products, quality and security included, as well as mentoring and keeping an eye on how to improve outcomes for our customers and across the business.

Our technology stack is Vue.js/Nuxt with a SpringBoot Backend, leveraging containers, cloud hosting, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elastic, and more.

About You

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, excellent spoken and written communication skills and possess problem solving skills.

We’re looking for a Frontend engineer with 5+ years of experience and most of the following

• Strong working knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript app frameworks.
• Experience with VueJS or React
• Experience working with design systems and tools like Figma and/or Storybook
• Ability to translate UX concepts into polished, production-ready UI
• Solid understanding of UX and interaction design principles
• Experience in Agentic Coding with tools such as Claude
• Good understanding and implementation experience of modern communication protocols and API design (REST, GraphQL and gRPC/Protobuf)
• A sound technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts with applicable platforms, frameworks, servers, language, tools, and technology.
• Good understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of SQL / NoSQL.
• Understand blameless culture and shipping quality at velocity.
• Experience using SDLC tools such as defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira), source control systems (e.g., GIT), build and continuous delivery (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions).

Highly Recommended

• Design or product building experience.
• Experience in Java/Spring backends.
