About the role

We are looking for a passionate aged care Registered Nurse to work at our lovely Coastal Villas Care Home in Paraparaumu, Kapiti Coast

This is a permanent position working 32 hours/4 days a week from Friday to Monday -PM shifts , but you will need to be flexible to cover shifts on other days as required.

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
• Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

• Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
• InterRai qualified is desirable.
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
