IT Procurement Manager

Role Summary

Covering an internal secondment for a minimum of 6 months, with genuine potential to extend for a significant period, this role sits within an established procurement function.

You will act as the primary procurement partner to senior technology stakeholders, leading commercial engagements and driving sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio of technology suppliers and platforms at a time when the business is undergoing significant technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial sourcing strategies across technology categories and supplier portfolios
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract engagements for key technology suppliers
• Build strong relationships with functional leaders to understand their objectives and translate these into procurement outcomes
• Drive supplier performance activity and manage risk across the category
• Identify and deliver cost, value, and efficiency improvements

Key Skills And Experience Required

• Solid experience in a senior procurement or supplier-focused commercial roles within a large or corporate organisation
• Strong technology procurement experience is essential
• Proven ability to lead commercial engagements and negotiate complex supplier contracts
• Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable influencing and advising at senior levels independently
• Good working knowledge of supplier risk management and contractual frameworks
• Able to manage multiple priorities and hit the ground running with minimal oversight
