Join Metlifecare and play a key role in leading the design, innovation, and continuous improvement of national clinical systems, processes, and care frameworks across Metlifecare villages.

The position will Champion best practice standards and digital solutions enabling consistent, high‑quality, resident‑centered care and provide forward‑looking leadership. Communication is key here as the position partners with Operations and Clinical Leaders to embed sustainable, national improvements.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Lead national planning and optimisation of clinical systems (including VCare) aligned to clinical needs, standards, and organisational priorities.
  • Lead and drive cross‑functional projects to enhance clinical platforms, delivering clear outcomes on time and within scope.
  • Provide clinical governance for system design, equipment standardisation, and third‑party clinical partnerships.
  • Embed consistent, system‑led clinical practice across all villages through process improvement and innovation.
  • Lead national quality improvement initiatives using clinical data, audit findings, adverse events, and complaints.
  • Deliver robust national reporting and insights (Power BI, InterRAI, benchmarking) to inform decisions and manage risk.
  • Influence and collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, procurement, and external stakeholders to deliver change.
  • Coach and develop the Clinical Support Coordinator (direct report) and collaborate with key contributors, escalating clinical risks appropriately.

About You

As a registered health professional (current APC), you are a respected clinical leader who thrives in complex environments, using systems, data, and collaboration to lift clinical quality, strengthen governance, and drive meaningful improvement at scale. To be considered for this position you will also process the following:

  • Senior‑level experience (5+ years) in healthcare, with deep expertise in clinical governance, compliance, and risk management, ideally within aged care.
  • Proven leader of national or multi‑site clinical improvement programmes.
  • Demonstrated success in optimising digital clinical platforms (e.g. VCare, MediMap) to enable consistent, high‑quality care delivery.
  • Experience leading systemic and cultural change, building capability and confidence across clinical teams.
  • Project or change management qualifications and active involvement in industry forums or best‑practice networks (desirable).
