ALS Oil & Lubricants is looking for a motivated
Client Services Officer to join our Tribology Division based in Lower Hutt. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer‑focused professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
About The Role
ALS Client Services works closely with clients to deliver high-quality service through effective communication, coordination, and technical support. As a Client Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring a positive client experience from sample receipt through to query resolution.
Key responsibilities include
- Database administration and entering sample information into LIMS
- Sample receipt, sorting, and login
- Managing incoming calls and monitoring client enquiries
- Coordinating and resolving client queries professionally and promptly
- Supporting sample kit dispatch, invoicing, courier bookings, and logistics
- General reception and office administration duties
About You
Mandatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Professional, proactive, and positive attitude
Preferred experience
- Previous experience in the science industry
- Office administration or client services background
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
