ALS Oil & Lubricants is looking for a motivated

Client Services Officer to join our Tribology Division based in Lower Hutt. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer‑focused professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, technical environment.

About The Role

ALS Client Services works closely with clients to deliver high-quality service through effective communication, coordination, and technical support. As a Client Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring a positive client experience from sample receipt through to query resolution.

Key responsibilities include

• Database administration and entering sample information into LIMS
• Sample receipt, sorting, and login
• Managing incoming calls and monitoring client enquiries
• Coordinating and resolving client queries professionally and promptly
• Supporting sample kit dispatch, invoicing, courier bookings, and logistics
• General reception and office administration duties

About You

Mandatory requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Professional, proactive, and positive attitude

Preferred experience

• Previous experience in the science industry
• Office administration or client services background
• Strong organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
