About The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering complex engineering projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, multidisciplinary teams, external vendors and the end-user, you will coordinate technical delivery, manage engineering outputs, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical capability with the ability to bring people, priorities, and deliverables together to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical project delivery from concept through to manufacture, assembly, and commissioning
- Develop and manage engineering deliverables including scopes, BOMs, specifications, technical documentation, and schedules
- Act as the primary technical interface between engineering teams, suppliers, clients, and project stakeholders
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project priorities, workloads, and deliverables are aligned and achieved
- Provide strong technical input across design, problem solving, system integration, and engineering decision-making
- Identify project risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies to support successful delivery outcomes
- Support manufacturing and assembly teams by resolving technical issues and driving continuous improvement across projects and processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Engineering, or similar technical delivery role
- Proven experience coordinating engineering projects and pulling together technical deliverables across multiple stakeholders and disciplines
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret specifications, review designs, and make sound engineering decisions
- Experience developing and managing engineering documentation including BOMs, technical packages, schedules, and project documentation
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering workflows
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver practical, high-quality solutions
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or highly regulated technical environments
