Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We're looking for experienced Civil Operators / Driver Operators to join our Nelson team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be operating plant, transporting machinery, and working across a range of civil construction projects. If you're someone who prefers being on the controls rather than on the sidelines, this is the role for you.

You'll be responsible for:

• Operating civil plant and machinery safely and efficiently
• Transporting, loading and unloading equipment (Class 4/5 work)
• Carrying out basic maintenance and daily checks on machinery
• Supporting crews on-site to deliver high-quality civil works
• Following all safety, quality, and environmental standards

Ngā pūkenga matua | Important Skills

We're keen to hear from people who come from a civil construction background and are confident both behind the wheel and on the controls.

You will bring:

• Class 4 or 5 New Zealand driver's licence
• Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) endorsement
• Proven experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience transporting machinery and working around heavy plant
• Confidence operating machinery (excavators, rollers, loaders - or similar)
• A strong work ethic and commitment to site safety
