What You Will Be Doing
You are here to support the General Counsel / Company Secretary and Senior Corporate Governance Counsel with the day-to-day governance, including internal governance, and administration of Tower Limited and its subsidiaries.
Dive into the heart of your responsibilities:
- Assist the General Counsel / Company Secretary and Senior Governance Counsel with preparation for Board and Board Committee meetings for Tower Limited (New Zealand) and its Pacific subsidiaries, including coordinating calendar invites, arranging travel, agenda preparation, ensuring compliance with Tower's style guide, and uploading to the board portal
- Set up rooms for Board and Committee meetings and arrange catering and manage on the day logistics
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of Board and Committee registers and workplans
- Assist with the administration and organisation of the Annual Shareholder Meeting, as required
- Coordinate the payment of invoices for Legal and Governance teams
- Provide general governance administration support for other internal governance functions as required
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 5 years' experience providing support to a company secretarial team
- Experience with the Board paper process including collating papers and uploading to Board portals
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels, including dealing with Directors.
- High attention to detail, including in document presentation, with exceptional organisational skills
- Strong administration experience
- Ability to work flexibly - outside of "normal" office hours when required
