Baker

We are a busy restaurant and takeaway seeking candidate for the position of a Baker.

The ideal candidate for this role will need to have two years of relevant work experience or a qualification.

The duties of this role are:

• Ensuring cleanliness as per health and safety regulations
• Preparing pastry fillings, baking pies and desserts
• Maintaining work stations including baking trays, tin and other equipments
• Operating dough machines and kneading, mixing dough
• Preparation and presentation
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
• Monitoring quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Preparing food and cooking using ovens, hotplates, grills and similar equipment
• portioning food, placing it in dishes
• Ability to work well under pressure

Applicants must be able to do flexible working hours, including nights, weekends and Public holidays.

Salary range for this position is $30.00- $35.00
