Civil Leading Hand

We’re on the hunt for experienced Leading Hands who can take the reins on-site, build high-quality retaining walls from start to finish, and lead small crews with confidence. If you’re hands-on, thrive outdoors, and know your way around a digger, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Full build of retaining walls - timber, quay stone, and block
• Operating machinery - especially diggers and augers for piling/drilling
• Reading plans and executing jobs to spec
• Managing the day-to-day site operations and liaising with clients
• Leading and working alongside the crew to get the job done right
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience building retaining walls from start to finish
• Strong machine operating skills (auger drilling/piling experience a bonus)
• Ability to interpret plans, manage materials, and run a tidy site
• Solid communicator - confident dealing with clients and contractors
• Full NZ driver’s licence
