We have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Actions & Meetings Coordinator to join our Issuer Services team.

Issuer Services is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services to Issuer Services clients and their individual security holders.
A role you will love
As a Corporate Actions & Meetings Coordinator, your role is to process Investment Products in the form of General Finance (deposit taker), Kiwibonds, ShareMart, Wholesale Issues (including council debt new issues through the LGFA) and Manchester Unity Fraternal Bond Redemptions.
You will also play a crucial role in managing the execution of Annual Shareholder Meetings and various Corporate Actions, including capital raisings and share transactions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the setup of internal voting systems, processing votes, preparing final reports, and attending shareholder meetings, often requiring domestic travel across New Zealand. You’ll collaborate closely with the Manager of Corporate Actions and Capital Markets to ensure compliance with NZX Listing Rules and exceed client expectations while also providing overflow support to our Customer Services team by handling investor enquiries through various channels.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the registration of new securities and manage investment products, including processing General Finance and Kiwibonds requests, executing ShareMart trades, and handling estate maturities for Manchester Unity
- Coordinate shareholder meetings, including setting up online voting systems and attending physical meetings, which may involve domestic travel
- Manage internal corporate action systems for direct credits, custodian applications, fund reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting to clients and legal teams
- Serve as the first point of contact for shareholder queries in the project inbox
- Support the Customer Service team with calls and live chat during peak times
- Respond to enquiry emails as time allows to improve registry knowledge
We are looking for somebody with a passion for capital markets who would enjoy building relationships with both external stakeholders and the team.
Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
- Strong communication skills for complex queries, tact in handling challenges, and a collaborative mindset
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, prioritisation, and the ability to work under pressure
- Relevant client service or administrative experience, preferably in finance
- Strong customer service and administrative skills - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Be self-motivated and proactive
