Job Description
The Communication and Publishing Department (CPD) is seeking to appoint a Creative and Production Manager. This person will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, development, and execution of creative content and production activities across the Pacific Area. This is a permanent full-time position located at the Pacific Area Office based in Takapuna, Auckland, and the successful candidate will be required to work from this location. This position reports to the Area Communication and Publishing Director.
Responsibilities
This dynamic role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for design, a passion for compelling storytelling, and robust leadership skills to manage cross-cultural creative teams. This role involves coordinating with CPD leadership and other Area staff to ensure effective, localized messaging, to meet the needs of priority audiences, supporting the work of salvation and exaltation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Media, Design, Marketing, or a related field or working towards one
- Extensive experience (8+ years recommended) in creative direction, production management, or content development, preferably within the Pacific region
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
- Exceptional visual and written communication abilities; fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Pacific languages is an asset
- Proven ability to drive brand consistency and high-quality standards across diverse channels
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational management
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and media landscapes unique to the Pacific area
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
