Our Whangarei branch is looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist who wants to continue growing their clinical skills in rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in patient care and well-being whilst being provided with the resources to succeed. Whangarei has a modern purpose-designed facility where the psychology offices are large, new and welcoming for clients. You will be part of a strong team culture professionally and socially with a focus on excellence and career progression. There is the opportunity to work both in the community and in the clinic as appropriate.
This role can be based out of our office in Kerikeri or the main office in Whangarei.
Main Responsibilities
Habit is proud to have introduced Heidi notes for all its clinicians to ensure they have access to the best possible tools to help them excel. Heidi is an AI medical scribe that automates clinical documentation and decreases administrative work. This enables you to focus on clinical care and excellence. In turn, you will be better equipped to make best use of our uncapped incentive programme that enables clinicians to earn an extra performance bonus every single month!

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning
- Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments
- Be part of the development of training and resources for services delivered
- Collaborate and learn grow with a multidisciplinary team (MDT)

The Ideal Candidate
- MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification
- Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board / a current APC
- Membership of a Professional Body like the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or New Zealand Psychological Society
- Approachability and people-centred disposition
- As an accredited employer we will provide assistance in the AEWV process
- Support in gaining registration with the NZ Psychologists Board
- Assistance in helping you settle into New Zealand
- Contribution towards relocation costs
