Qualified Roofer

We’re looking for a skilled Qualified Roofer or Carpenter (or SQE Roofer) to take the lead on roofing, cladding, and membrane installations across high-quality commercial sites in Christchurch. Whether you’re formally qualified or bring years of hands-on experience, this role gives you the chance to step up, guide others, and take pride in delivering premium results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Installing and repairing roofing, cladding, rainwater & membrane systems
• Supervising parts of a site or entire projects depending on scope
• Supporting quality control, troubleshooting and reporting on-site issues
• Reading and working from project plans, ordering flashings and materials
• Working closely with site managers and trades to ensure deadlines and specs are met
• Maintaining high safety standards and ensuring your team does the same
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

You have 2+ years of experience in roofing or construction and are confident in your ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision. You may hold a trade qualification or be suitably qualified by experience (SQE). You can lead small crews, follow plans, communicate clearly, and have good working knowledge of commercial roofing systems. Basic IT and email skills are a must.
