Crowne Plaza Queenstown is located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in the heart of New Zealand's South Island. Our 4.5-star hotel is looking for a Meetings Planner to join our friendly and professional team.

Your day-to-day
As the Crowne Meetings Planner, your primary responsibility is to coordinate and execute a wide range of events including meetings, incentives, association, and residential conferences. This role involves liaising with clients to understand their event requirements, creating detailed banquet event orders, and ensuring seamless execution. You will collaborate with various departments within the hotel to ensure that facilities, catering, audio-visual equipment, and other services meet the specific needs of each event.

What We Need From You
- Strong verbal and written communication to build effective relations with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
- Previous administration experience preferred but not essential.
- A strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Understand the hotel operations and work within the hotel's framework to provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Liase with internal stakeholders, including event planning teams, food and beverage, and audiovisual, to ensure seamless execution of events.
