Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily plant operations and team performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
- Conduct preventative maintenance and saltwater system monitoring
- Lead and support kaimahi training and development
- Promote a safe, culturally confident, and collaborative work environment
- Proven supervisory experience in a processing plant
- Unit standards in food safety, fisheries compliance, and saltwater systems
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and collaboration skills
- A commitment to Ngāi Tahu values and eagerness to learn Māori tikanga
- Be part of a kaupapa-driven organisation managing fisheries assets sustainably
