Hammer Hand

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Hammer Hand to join our growing construction company. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the role for you! You’ll be assisting on a variety of residential and/or commercial construction projects, working alongside experienced builders and tradespeople.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Assists with the preparation of building sites, including clearing debris and setting up barricades and scaffolding
• Carries and lifts materials and tools to and from work areas and around building sites
• Operates hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and hammers, to assist with the assembly and installation of prefabricated or structural building components
• Cleans building and construction sites, and maintains tools and equipment
• Assisting with framing, formwork, and general carpentry tasks
• Supporting builders and tradespeople as required
• Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment

Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:

• Previous experience as a Hammer Hand or in general construction (preferred but not essential)
• Physically fit with a good attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team

Pay and Benefit

• Full-time permanent employment.
• Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.
• Hourly rate ranges between $28 -$30
