We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join our engineering team and help us deliver high-quality software that powers real impact.
In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership across both backend (PHP) and frontend (Angular) development, guide a team of developers, and partner closely with Product, Delivery Managers, and other stakeholders to drive forward our feature roadmap.
What You’ll Do
Own the technical delivery of projects — from solution design to implementation and deployment.
Guide backend development using PHP (e.g., Symfony or Laravel) and frontend architecture using Angular.
Work with AWS serverless services to design scalable and cost-effective infrastructure.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and manage build processes with tools like Docker.
Leverage modern tooling and observability practices to maintain system reliability and performance.
Write and maintain automation tests and write unit tests using frameworks like Cypress or Jest.
Identify and research emerging technologies or tools that can improve team efficiency and product quality, and drive their adoption.
Lead and mentor a team of developers through all phases of software development.
Conduct regular 1:1s with developers, supporting their growth and performance.
Facilitate feature-level discussions with Product to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize the team backlog.
Work closely with the Engineering Manager to define and evolve the team’s technical direction and best practices.
Support hiring efforts by participating in candidate evaluation and interviews.
What You’ll Bring
Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Angular.
Solid knowledge of AWS serverless services.
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Cypress or Jest.
Deep understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and build/release processes.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.
Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
A passion for building scalable, maintainable systems and nurturing strong team dynamics.
