Job Description

About the role

You'll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Chubb Life's communications, influencing both internal and external messaging.

Work closely with senior leadership, including the Brand and Communications Senior Manager and CEO, to drive communication strategies and initiatives.

You'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing media representation and supporting key sales channels to spearheading impactful PR initiatives.

In this key role you’ll

  • Ensure Chubb Life New Zealand is represented accurately & appropriately, wherever possible, in external media (including press, digital & radio channels)
  • Work closely with senior leadership, including the Brand and Communications Senior Manager and CEO, to drive communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication strategies that align with Chubb Life's brand.
  • Strengthen internal connections through strategic communication and relationship building.
  • Drive Chubb Life PR initiatives

To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring

  • 5+ years of strategic experience in internal, external, and change communications.
  • A strong history of effectively influencing and challenging strategic ideas alongside Chief Executives and Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, drive results and make pivotal decision.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent public relations and media relations experience
