Watercare have a vacancy for a qualified and dedicated Compliance Technician to utilise their Environmental/Science or Engineering skills in our Asset Protection Trade Waste team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting our compliance team in assuring trade waste compliance of industrial sites within the Auckland region. You will be based in our conveniently located Newmarket Head Office.

In This Role You Will
- Conduct sampling a variety of industrial sites around the greater Auckland region
- Assist with compliance activities
- Act as a Customer liaison
- Complete Data processing and reporting as required.
To Be Considered For This Role You Will Hold
- A tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Process Engineering, or relevant industry experience
- Strong practical and fieldwork skills
- The ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
- A current NZ, full drivers licence
- A reasonable level of physical fitness as some moderate lifting is required
- Experience in a regulatory environment
