Horticultural Machinery Operator

Dhami Horticulture Limited is seeking a Horticultural machinery operator to operate a tractor, truck, mower, mulcher, hydrolada, and all other orchard machinery as required to ensure smooth operation. As a Horticultural machinery operator, your responsibilities will include operating tractors, forklifts, quad bikes, mowers, mulchers, trucks, hydrolada and all other machinery in the orchards whenever required.

• Operating mowers, mulchers, sprayers, tractors, forklifts and trucks safely and efficiently.

• Application of agrichemicals by using tractors and sprayers.

• Understanding the impact of weather conditions for spraying.

• A good understanding and awareness of safe work practices.

• Able to perform a pre-machinery check before use of every single machinery.

• Able to fill log books daily.

• Using tractors to transport materials and horticultural machinery equipment.

• Operating other farm equipment.

• Follow H & S regulations and safety standards, completing job sheets.
