Forklift Driver

We are seeking two reliable and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our operations team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport bulk materials, containers, crates, palletised goods, cartons, and bales across the warehouse or worksite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Stack and store goods in designated areas.
• Inspect machinery daily and report any issues or faults.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage.
• Comply with workplace health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Verifiable Work Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant forklift operation experience, supported by documented evidence not written by the applicant (e.g. reference letters, employment records, tax records, bank statements).

OR

• Qualification: A relevant qualification at Level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).

Additional Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license (as required under NZ law).
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
