The Higgins Team in Hamilton is currently seeking a Plant Operator to join the crew at the asphalt plant. You will be part of a small team that manufactures and supplies mix to external and internal clients.

The Higgins Team in Hamilton is currently seeking a Plant Operator to join the crew at the asphalt plant. You will be part of a small team that manufactures and supplies mix to external and internal clients.
What You Need
- Prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
- Strong understanding of materials, tools and methods used in asphalt production
- Class 1 licence or overseas equivalent - WTR and Class 2 sought after but we can support you to gain these
- Familiarity with handling bitumen with D & F endorsements would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to work a roster of days and nights (Night shift as required)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a strong team ethic
- Computer literacy
- Strong track record of commitment to health and safety
