What’s the Job?
Depending on your role, you’ll be responsible for:
CCTV Pipeline Operators / Drainage Technicians:
- Operating CCTV inspection equipment for sewer, stormwater, and wastewater systems
- Identifying faults, leaks, blockages, and structural defects
- Producing accurate inspection reports using industry-standard software
- Working independently and as part of a crew to maintain and assess underground assets
- Operating Class 4/ 5 vehicles including vacuum trucks, hydro-excavation units, flushing trucks etc.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance
- Ensuring safe operation and full compliance with transport and site safety regulations

The technical stuff you'll need includes:
For CCTV / Drainage Roles:
- Proven experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment
- Solid knowledge of NZPIM 4th Edition standards
- Proficiency with IPEK and/or IBAK inspection systems
- Strong skills using WinCan software
- Experience leading small on-site teams and dealing directly with clients
- Bonus: Experience with CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) repairs
- Full Class 4 /5 driver’s licence
- Experience operating vacuum trucks, hydro-excavators, or similar heavy vehicles
- Knowledge of safe transport practices and equipment operation
- Experience supporting civil works crews
- A hands-on training programme with a wide range of courses
