Quality Assurance Technician

The purpose of this position is to provide the Quality Assurance Operator support to help complete the proposed asphalt work.

Proficiency in completing all tasks associated with Quality control, including but not limited to :

• Drive the quality of all pavement and surfacing works.
• Monitor all surfacing works and ensure that it is completed on time, within budget and to a high level of quality.
• Report on quality deliverables
• Monitor the paperwork of all surfacing works to ensure the required QA records are retained.
• Preparation for the day ahead Ensure that you have all resources required to carry out the work prior to starting.
• Carry out onsite measurement and set out.
• Monitor asphalt/Bitumen quantities.
• Noting and reporting factors that may affect the quality of company outputs.
• Perform additional duties (labouring work) as per Supervisor's.

Operational

You are required to operate required machinery in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, with due care and attention and in a safe manner, manage your own fitness for work medically & physically. Recording incidents or near-miss incidents. Seeking assistance if there is any doubt with regard to machine maintenance or operation.

You will maintain and ensuring plant security on a daily and weekly basis.

Completing the Record of Routine Machine Maintenance and forwarding completed forms to the Transport Manager
