He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As part of the Water team you will be hands on and involved with:
- Installations and repair of water pipes and mains
- Installation of new water meters
- Installation and maintenance of fire hydrants
- Relocation of existing water connections
- Maintenance on water networks
- Operation of small diggers and loaders to excavate and backfill Watercare assets
- Minor infrastructure upgrades
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you
In This Role You Will Bring
- Relevant industry experience within the Water industry
- Minimum Full Class 1. Class 2 Drivers Licence would be an advantage
- R, T, W, F, D endorsements will be advantageous.
- A commitment to Health and Safety
- Ability to work on a roster which will include shift work/standby/weekends oncall
- Confident operating a variety of hand tools and small plant
- A great work ethic
