About The Role

We're looking for a driven, strategic, and technically skilled marketer to lead the charge in building and optimising our MarTech and marketing automation capabilities from the ground up.

As our Technical Marketing Automation Lead, you'll own the development and execution of intelligent, data-driven customer journeys that scale. You'll harness cutting-edge tools and platforms to increase efficiency, elevate the customer experience, and drive measurable performance across all marketing channels.

What you will be doing?

  • Define and lead the MarTech strategy and integration, ensuring all marketing technologies (including CRM, automation platforms, and data tools) are seamlessly connected and aligned to strategic marketing objectives
  • Oversee the design and execution of automation, building scalable workflows across the customer lifecycle to drive lead nurturing, engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Champion the use of data to deliver data-driven campaigns that are personalised, timely, and effective, while continuously optimising performance through analysis and insights
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with teams across performance marketing, analytics, product, and creative to ensure marketing technology and automation efforts are cohesive and strategically aligned
  • Take full ownership of technology optimisation, leading system integrations, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure the MarTech stack is fully leveraged and future-ready
  • Establish and scale process improvement and best practices for automation and MarTech adoption, driving operational efficiency, data integrity, and performance consistency across the organisation
  • Drive a culture of measurement by partnering with analytics to lead reporting and analytics efforts, ensuring campaign KPIs are tracked, reported, and used to inform ongoing strategy
  • Lead change management and training initiatives to embed marketing technology and automation across teams, promoting adoption, capability building, and a mindset of continuous innovation


To Shine In The Role

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in in a MarTech, marketing automation, or performance marketing role, with hands-on experience in integrating and optimising automation platforms and technologies. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, as well as familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.) and data integration technologies. SQL and HTML experience preferred
  • Technical understanding of MarTech systems and integrations, including data flows, APIs, and custom solutions to enhance system efficiency
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to inform marketing strategies and optimise automated workflows, driving measurable improvements in customer engagement and conversion rates
  • Great organisational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives and driving projects to completion on time
  • The ability to lead, influence, and support cross-functional teams through periods of change, ensuring smooth transitions and minimising resistance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with diverse teams across the organisation
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying inefficiencies, finding scalable solutions, and optimising systems and workflows
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a marketing related discipline, some marketing experience within financial services is preferable (but not essential)
