What Your Role And Typical Day Might Look Like

You will be responsible for playing a leading role in our experience offering by delivering and instilling human-centred thinking and design practices to uncover new ways of innovating, growing and evolving our client’s business. You will solve problems by understanding our client’s needs through research, data, concepting and usability testing.

You will be a trusted partner for clients as well as internal teams to build the quality of the relationship and product. You will ensure human centred design principles are woven into the agency's offering to help organisational growth.

Responsibilities Could Include

  • Responsible for translating user insights into user experiences, applying UI design principles and creating style guides.
  • Participate in design engagements with key clients, including designing and running workshops, presenting outputs and pitching in solutions.
  • Work alongside the creative craft to ensure dentsu delivers world-class experiences, providing strategic guidance and design thinking to solve the right client problems and grow their businesses.
  • Develop customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes, information architecture, user stories and prototypes based on user needs.
  • Work with other Designers to bring the wireframes to life with beautiful design.
  • Work alongside the delivery and client services teams to support the planning of client strategies and engagements to ensure efficient and effective approaches.
  • Be an active contributor in the wider team to build design thinking skills and capabilities among the strategy, creative and experience design teams. Provide direction, training, inspiration, motivation, and advice to upskill and improve those around you.
  • Work closely with Agency Heads to grow client relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to integrate with other crafts to deliver holistic approaches and solutions across dentsu's offerings.


A Bit About You

  • Experience working in a digital, web development or creative agency
  • 2+ years’ experience as a designer across customer (CX) and user (UX/UI)
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.
  • Experience with research tools such as Hotjar, Full Story, Maze
  • Experience with journey mapping tools such as Miro and Lucid charts
  • Excellent communication and naturally inquisitive, utilising your skills to facilitate and investigate problems using human centered design principles.
  • Delivery focused and solutions orientated, priding yourself on an ability to design solutions to a high standard across a range of different industry, clients and projects.
  • Results orientated, collaborative and self-driven.
  • Unparallelled client and stakeholder management experience, forming effective working relationships internally and externally.
