About The Role
We are looking for a commercially astute and highly analytical Commercial Analyst to join our Shared Services team in Auckland. Reporting to the National Revenue Manager, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and performance reporting. Your responsibilities will include conducting post-billing margin analysis, consumables and materials reconciliation, vendor billing analysis, and the development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards and SharePoint sites. You will also contribute to client reporting, managing of trend and exception analysis, and leveraging data analytics to identify, propose and implement process improvement initiatives. This is a dynamic, technical and specialised role that requires advanced analytical skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, operations, and client-facing teams.

About You
You are a confident and capable analyst with:
- At least 3 years of experience in a finance or commercial analyst role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), Power BI, and SharePoint development.
- Experience with ERP and business finance systems.
- A background in financial modelling, reporting, and operational analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
