The Product

Throughout our history we’ve been known to develop award-winning solutions, and we have launched the next. Named eShepherd, this future farm technology allows farmers to monitor, move and contain livestock anywhere on their ranch, breaking down those difficult to fence paddocks into smaller grazing cells to run a more efficient and thriving pasture-based system. Our technology provides real-time data and 24/7 visibility of livestock, increasing productivity and profitability, improving animal health outcomes, and offering a cost-effective solution for environmental compliance and sustainable practices.  eShepherd is a solar powered, GPS enabled, livestock neckband that enables you to simply draw your virtual fence anywhere on your property and your cattle learn to move with and remain within the virtual barrier.


Your Impact

As Director of Sales – Australasia, you’ll be driving the growth of eShepherd, our virtual fencing solution, across New Zealand and Australia. You’ll be hands-on in both strategic direction and day-to-day execution—actively engaging with customers, rolling up your sleeves to support your team, and leading by example in the field. What You’ll Do

  • Craft and drive a bold, customer-first sales strategy that delivers impact across Australasia
  • Build and lead a high-performing, future-focused sales team
  • Champion customer insights to fuel product development and market fit
  • Forge strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and resellers
  • Represent eShepherd at industry events, field days, and expos
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales with global strategy
  • Drive commercial outcomes through sound financial and operational leadership


What You’ll Bring

We’re after someone who thrives on juggling moving parts and takes pride in getting things right. You’ll need to bring a structured approach to your work, a calm head under pressure, and strong coordination skills. To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Experience in creating a sales team in a start-up environment and ideally in an agri-tech environment
  • Strong experience in business development or senior sales leadership roles, ideally in agri-tech or solution selling
  • A natural problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly and make decisions with imperfect information
  • Resilience and adaptability to navigate the challenges of a fast-evolving agri-tech landscape
  • Proven ability to lead through change and scale high-growth teams
  • Deep understanding of the agricultural landscape in Australasia
  • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer success including growing and converting sales pipelines
  • A collaborative, values-driven leadership style

This role is not for the faint-hearted. You’ll be building from the ground up—navigating complexity, solving problems in real time, and helping shape the future of eShepherd in Australasia. Expect to be in the field, with customers, and alongside your team as you lead the charge.
