We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Café Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The Café Manager will be responsible for ensuring the café runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of service and product quality, managing staff, and fostering a positive and engaging environment for both customers and employees.

Renumeration: $28.00 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The Café Manager will be responsible for ensuring the café runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of service and product quality, managing staff, and fostering a positive and engaging environment for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring it runs efficiently and profitably.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimising waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the café.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Team Leadership & Staff Development:
Hire, train, and mentor a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.
Schedule shifts and manage team performance to ensure optimal service during peak hours.
Foster a positive team culture focused on customer service excellence and collaboration.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and opportunities for growth.
Customer Service:
Ensure every customer has an outstanding experience from the moment they enter the café.
Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Financial Management:
Monitor and control costs, including labour, inventory, and overheads.
Help create and manage the café's budget and financial targets.
Marketing & Community Engagement:
Collaborate with the owner to create promotions, events, and community outreach efforts.
Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers, businesses, and customers.
Promote the café’s brand and mission through social media, events, and local partnerships.
Qualifications / Previous experience:
Proven experience as a Café Manager or in a similar management role (at least two years experience).
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Passion for coffee and food, with an understanding of industry trends.
Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
