Contract type: Part time

Join a team that thrives on driving high-performing Google Ads and SEO campaigns that make an enormous difference for our clients in NZ and Australia.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a highly skilled Account Manager with strong digital marketing experience and a proven track record of excellent client management.

You’ll be a people person, who also loves data and reports. You need to understand the worlds of Google Ads, Meta ads and SEO, so that you can be a liaison between our specialist teams and our clients.

You’ll be confident explaining digital marketing to business owners and marketing managers, and provide excellent explanations about campaign performance and recommendations for going forward.

Here’s a little bit about Duoplus:

Based in Hamilton, Duoplus is a digital marketing agency that has built a reputation for producing impressive and highly measurable results for our clients in lead generation and online sales. In short, we help our clients win online, so their businesses thrive.

Our main services are Google Ads campaigns, Facebook ad campaigns, SEO and websites. We love bringing the worlds of clever marketing and data together, to provide our clients with highly effective campaigns that grow their businesses.

We work with a wide range of companies across New Zealand and Australia - from local businesses to nationwide brands. Across all our campaigns the defining factor we bring is measurable, profitable results.

Here’s a glimpse of the role:

This role can either be full-time or part-time (e.g. school hours). It is based in our office in Pukete, Hamilton.

It requires hands-on expertise in digital marketing – primarily in Google Ads, Facebook ads and SEO.

The part-time option for this role focuses primarily on client relationships as an Account Manager. The full-time option for this role pairs the Account Manager role with hands-on management of Google Ads and/or Meta campaigns.

While we have specialists on our team who run the campaigns, you should be comfortable jumping into Google Ads, Meta ads, Google Analytics or the backend of a website, to review things and make simple changes if needed.

The role also includes reviewing landing pages and making conversion rate optimisation recommendations for landing pages and websites. Overall, you should know how to get great results for clients with effective digital marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build strong relationships with the clients you are assigned to. You will have excellent communication by email, phone and in-person with clients. You need outstanding people skills including the ability to deal positively with any challenging clients.
  • Provide good analysis, advice and recommendations to clients in the areas of Google Ads, Meta ads and SEO.
  • Clear communication and coordination of any work promised to clients.
  • Report directly to the Ads Team Leader and work with our other digital marketing specialists to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Here are a few reasons why you will love life at Duoplus:

  • We’re a team of 14, and have strong team culture of being supportive and results-focused.
  • We place huge importance on constantly learning and improving – in fact, at least 2 hours per week is dedicated to professional development.
  • Every fortnight we enjoy a team lunch and Duoplus covers the bill.
  • Our modern commercial office is based in Pukete/Te Rapa. There’s ample free parking, with company parks and free street parking right outside our office with no time limit. So much nicer than working downtown!

If this sounds like the type of role you’d love, here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to confidently explain digital marketing jargon and metrics in easy-to-understand ways.
  • Excellent client management skills – you’ll have a proven history of working directly with clients, giving advice and recommendations, and having clients love your customer service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. You must be someone who gets the details right. The role demands excellent written communication, perfect grammar and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A drive for continual improvement. You’ll love learning, be passionate about doing things well and be continually looking to improve yourself and your results.

This role comes with a competitive salary, matched to your experience, plus a mobile phone plan.
