About the role:

You’ll be working across substations (11kV to 110kV), carrying out construction and maintenance of electrical equipment to meet customer and compliance requirements. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable service delivery and be accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work.

  • Carrying out prescribed electrical work safely and in line with regulations
  • Performing inspections, testing, and maintenance on substation equipment
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support smooth operations
  • Recording accurate documentation and contributing to job reporting
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities for process and safety improvements


About You:

  • EWRB Registered
  • Certificate in Electrical Engineering (or working towards it)
  • Experience in substation construction or maintenance (11kV–110kV)
  • Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and mechanically minded
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
