About the role:
You’ll be working across substations (11kV to 110kV), carrying out construction and maintenance of electrical equipment to meet customer and compliance requirements. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable service delivery and be accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work.

You’ll be working across substations (11kV to 110kV), carrying out construction and maintenance of electrical equipment to meet customer and compliance requirements. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable service delivery and be accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work.
- Carrying out prescribed electrical work safely and in line with regulations
- Performing inspections, testing, and maintenance on substation equipment
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support smooth operations
- Recording accurate documentation and contributing to job reporting
- Identifying and acting on opportunities for process and safety improvements
- EWRB Registered
- Certificate in Electrical Engineering (or working towards it)
- Experience in substation construction or maintenance (11kV–110kV)
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and mechanically minded
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
