About The Role And Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for multiple enthusiastic Casual** **Kitchen Assistants** to work at **Dunedin Hospital.** Due to the casual nature of the job, you will work on a as and when required basis, with operational hours being between 6:30am-8pm.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • delivering trolley meals to patients
  • working as part of a team serving food on the trayline
  • ensuring hygiene and washing dishes
  • ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:**

If you're our ideal candidate you will be **physically fit**, hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167). You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
